About us
Ancora Music Festival will provide opportunities to present a variety of instrumental performances (including voice) and visual artists to display their talent and works in public venues.
Concert and recital experiences as well as participating in master classes and summer festivals will enhance the student's knowledge and expertise in each of their artistic areas. There will be auditions where students will be required to perform from memory in front of judges who will offer them a written critique. The highest scored students will then perform in prestigious halls in the NY area.
Ancora Music Festival's first event was on November 19th, 2011 at the Agape Korean Presbyterian Church in Iselin NJ where young musicians performed various musical works in front of an audience of family, friends, and Mayor John McCormac ( mayor of Woodbridge Twp. NJ). The second event was February 25th, 2012 and the third event was in May 2012 at the same Church.
